Job summary

This 10-month, full-time substitute role reports to the school principal. Certified substitutes earn a daily rate of $151, while non-certified substitutes earn $129 per day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent)
• Active NC teaching license required
• Three years teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction following regular teacher's lesson plans
• Maintain safe, orderly classroom and positive learning environment
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and PLCs as needed
• Communicate with families and school staff as appropriate
• Follow district policies and procedures
