Job summary

Coal Town Public House in Franklin, TN is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support back of house and front of house staff. You will ensure all dishes and drinkware are thoroughly cleaned and help with prep, stocking, and waste removal. A positive attitude and safe work habits are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and at least 18 years old. Two years of kitchen experience is preferred; CPR/First Aid training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in a large commercial kitchen operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe dining and work environment by following all safety practices and by sweeping, cleaning and rotating product.
• Maintain a positive, high, well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift.
• Wash dishes while adhering to company, state, and federal sanitary standards.
• Assist cooks with any help they may need, including but not limited to: assisting with prep work, stocking products, cleaning, and taking out the trash.
• Exhibit consistently dependable, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy conduct.
• Keep kitchen well organized.
• Ensure all supplies are replenished frequently.
• Complete any and all assigned cleaning duties including stocking and organization.
• Ensure proper set up and breakdown of stations before and after operating hours.
• Applicants with additional language skills preferred.
