Job summary

Centric Brands Inc. is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to drive the full seasonal development cycle from concept through production.

You will partner with Design, Production, Sales, Technical Design and overseas offices to ensure submissions meet brand standards and stay on schedule. The role requires deep knowledge of garment construction, fabric finishes, and color science, plus 3+ years in product development for apparel.

Qualifications

Comprehensive understanding of the Product Development cycle and milestones.
Knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and seam classifications.
Understanding of fabric qualities, finishes, printing, color science, and embellishments.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Product Development or related major).
3+ years of product development or apparel experience.

Responsibilities

Participate in milestone meetings with Design to align brand direction before the tech pack process.
Review submissions, including lab dips, strike-offs, artwork placements, sales samples and pre-production samples.
Ensure submissions meet quality, aesthetic and brand standards and stay on calendar.
Collaborate with PD Manager to review initial tech packs in PLM and coordinate updates.
Monitor development milestones and accelerate delays through cross-team communication.
Organize and maintain fabric, print, and trim libraries for future reference.
Maintain seasonal approval charts and PLM accuracy for assigned categories.
