Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver engaging, educational, and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years in the Kids Academy. You will organize, instruct and supervise safe, fun activities and assist with events.

Work with families and staff to foster cognitive, social, and physical development, maintain safety, and follow the Kids Academy schedule. CPR/First Aid certifications are required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certifications must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to engage a group of children aged 3 months to 11 years.

Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Instructs organized activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains records of attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitors safety and ensures a healthy environment for children and equipment.
• Communicates with parents and team members regarding behavior and progress.
• Promotes all junior programming and maintains cleanliness of the Kids Academy.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
