Hudson Valley Community College invites applications for an Instructor – Addictions Counseling, Human Services. The successful candidate will teach Anatomy & Physiology and related Health Sciences courses at HVCC, with potential assignments at the Malta campus.

The role includes evening, weekend and online teaching as part of a 10-month appointment. The minimum qualifications require a Master’s in Biology (or related field) or a Bachelor’s with a Master’s in a related discipline, plus two years

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Biology or related discipline with college teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a Master’s in related field considered.
• Experience with technology integration and distance learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements instructional duties in classroom and laboratory.
• Develops and revises courses and curricula.
• Evaluate student performance.
• Participate in department, division and college committees.
