Qualifications

• Experience in the restaurant industry.
• High energy to keep up with pace of a busy restaurant.
• Dependable team player with good attendance.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to reach, lift, bend and carry heavy objects.
• Must adhere to Buddy’s uniform policy and standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and extend a friendly farewell inviting guests back.
• Assist guests when on a waiting list.
• Coordinate the flow of seating throughout the shift while maintaining the waiting list.
• Suggestively sells all menu items.
• Observes guests and responds to any additional needs.
• Demonstrating excitement and enthusiasm.
• Follows health and safety guidelines.
