Abby Kelley Foster Public Charter School is seeking a dedicated Building Substitute Teacher to join our Worcester campus on a full-time, temporary basis. You will deliver prepared lesson plans and instructional materials, ensuring continuity of education across classrooms in the absence of regular teachers.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Licensure: Massachusetts DESE licensure not strictly required for substitutes; teaching license preferred for some long-term assignments.
• Experience: Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong classroom management and effective communication; adaptability to different settings and student needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans and materials left by absent teachers, ensuring alignment with curriculum and standards.
