If you are hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have up to 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license and must actively pursue licensing each year. Upon hire, you must hold a valid Hawaii teaching license or an Emergency Hire Permit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for applicants; teaching credentials pursued per HTSB requirements.
• If hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have up to 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license and must demonstrate active pursuit annually.
