Job summary

Mt. Morris Consolidated Schools is seeking a full-time teacher under the MMEA contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with required Special Education endorsements.
• Meet federal Highly Qualified Teacher requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans aligned with district curricula and standards.
• Collaborate with staff for students in programs such as special education and ELL.
• Attend professional development to maintain Michigan certification.
• Supervise and provide assignments to instructional assistants and student teachers.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and classroom expectations.
• Follow district policies and emergency procedures.
