Advocate Health’s Kernersville Fitness location is seeking a part-time group fitness instructor to lead and grow participation in various classes at flexible times. You will operate the stereo system, coordinate with the group fitness coordinator, and ensure safe movement techniques for all participants.

The role emphasizes delivering a positive class experience, maintaining certifications, and actively recruiting members while contributing to regular class reports and meeting attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in group fitness or ongoing mentorship with group fitness supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow participation in group fitness classes.
• Operate stereo and microphone systems during classes.
• Communicate with the GF coordinator via email and other methods.
• Ensure movement techniques and safety during classes.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and participate in continuing education.
• Recruit new members for group fitness classes and memberships.
• Submit monthly class volume and instruction reports.
