Job summary

Edge Fitness Clubs in Missouri is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging classes, ensure proper technique, and motivate members. You will create a welcoming atmosphere and contribute to a supportive gym community.

You’ll teach at least two classes per week, address member questions, and collaborate with staff to maintain safety and quality. CPR/AED certification is required; a national group fitness credential is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience teaching Group Fitness classes in a related discipline.
• Must possess and maintain CPR/AED certification.
• Nationally accredited Group Fitness Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality member experiences through safe, effective and motivational classes.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and form, modifying intensity as needed.
• Increase attendance through knowledge and emotional connection.
• Teach at least two classes per week.
• Create community through positive interactions before and after class.
• Address member concerns or direct to management.
• Maintain professional attitude toward members and staff.
