Job summary

A 24-hour fitness company in Lynchburg is seeking a passionate Group Exercise Instructor to lead group fitness classes. The ideal candidate will motivate participants in a fun, inclusive environment and is required to have certification in group fitness instruction. This role demands strong leadership and communication skills, flexibility in working hours, and a passion for fitness and helping others.

Qualifications

• Certification in group fitness instruction (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM) or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience leading group fitness classes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver group exercise classes including yoga, Zumba, Pilates.
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques to participants.
• Monitor participants’ fitness levels and provide modifications.
