Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Content area certification required.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate grade-level and content-area endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans meeting diverse academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Utilize research-based instructional strategies, educational technology, and district-approved resources to enhance student learning.
• Assess and document student progress; adjust instruction based on data to improve outcomes.
• Provide accommodations and modifications for students with IEPs and 504 Plans in collaboration with special education staff.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment that supports active learning and student responsibility.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and district initiatives as required.
