Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist to join a busy practice providing both inpatient and outpatient GI care in Florence, SC. The position requires board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology, with ERCP/EUS experience preferred but not required.

You will deliver comprehensive evaluations, perform procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive GI evaluation and management across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures as needed.
• Provide shared on-call coverage in collaboration with the care team.
• Work closely with nurse practitioners and support coordinated patient care.
• Collaborate with a strong referral network to support a high-volume practice.
