Job summary

CHEP Bolingbrook plant is hiring a Warehouse Forklift Operator for 1st shift. The role focuses on safe, efficient forklift operation to retrieve containers or materials from multiple departments. Training and routine forklift maintenance are part of the duties, with emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and safety.

You will work Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with competitive pay and benefits starting on day one. Applicable safety gear and PPE are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of at least 2 years operating a sit-down forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operations.
• Valid Forklift Operator certification/license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift to move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area and wear PPE daily.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the forklift and sanitize containers.
