The Learning Experience in Newark, DE is hiring a Floater Teacher to join our daycare and preschool teams. You will support Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms and assist Lead Teachers with daily routines, stories, art, and activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• TECE 1/TECE 2, CDA, or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms as needed.
• Assist Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
• Engage children through stories, art, sensory play, music, movement, and hands-on learning.
• Support meals, diapering, toileting, rest time, and classroom transitions as appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom ratios.
• Use positive guidance and age-appropriate classroom management.
• Help maintain clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classrooms.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Adapt to different classrooms, age groups, and daily schedules.
• Follow Delaware childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
