Job summary

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is seeking a Staff Nurse Float for Interventional Radiology and Oncology. The Staff Nurse will manage and deliver patient care, coordinate with the care team, and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality outcomes and a positive patient experience. Location: James Cancer Hospital.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Shifts vary.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program required.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.

Responsibilities

• Managing and providing care to patients and their families, directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model.
