Job summary

Art of Drawers NJ is seeking friendly Event Specialists to engage homeowners at festivals and community events across Central and North Jersey, generating leads and scheduling in-home design consultations for our cabinet organization and refacing solutions.

This independent contractor role offers weekend events with 4–6 hour shifts, a flexible schedule, and an hourly rate plus commissions. Training provided; lift up to 50 lbs; reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• Experience with events, brand ambassador work, promotions, customer service, hospitality, sales, or lead generation preferred.
• Experience working events or promotions for different brands or businesses is a plus.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging with new people.
• Availability for weekend events, with occasional Fridays.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to different event locations.
• Comfortable using basic computer applications.
• Able to assist with event setup and breakdown and lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Introduce homeowners to our cabinet organization and refacing solutions at events.
• Engage attendees, generate leads, and schedule complimentary in-home design consultations.
• Represent the company professionally and answer attendee questions.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown and transport materials when required.
