Job summary

Art of Drawers, a family-owned remodeling specialist serving the Omaha area, seeks an energetic Event Manager for Home Shows, Trade Shows, and pop-up events. You’ll engage homeowners at our booth, qualify leads, and book in-home design appointments on the spot.

You’ll work directly with the owners, representing the brand at events, handling booth setup, and capturing contact information. This is a part-time, event-based role with training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working or managing live events, trade shows, or expos.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• In-person sales experience (retail, commissioned sales, appointment setting, etc.) preferred.
• Experience booking appointments or generating leads preferred.
• Background in home services, remodeling, or design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage attendees walking by the booth
• Start conversations and identify qualified homeowners
• Clearly communicate our services and value proposition
• Book in-home design appointments on the spot
• Accurately capture customer information
• Answer questions about our products, process, pricing, and installation timelines
• Explain benefits such as maximizing vertical storage, accessibility improvements, and one-day installs
• Assist with booth setup (loading in, organizing materials, light assembly as needed)
• Help maintain a clean, inviting booth throughout the show
• Support breakdown and load-out as needed
• Represent the brand professionally at all times
