Job summary

TheatreSquared in Fayetteville, AR is seeking friendly Event Bar Staff to join its seasonal overhire team at The Commons Bar & Café. This part-time, non-exempt role offers $15.00 per hour plus tips and supports performances and events.

No bartending experience required; prior experience with a cash register or customer service is valued. You will handle beverage service, operate the POS, restock supplies, and help keep the bar and café running smoothly during busy evenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Previous experience operating a cash register or POS system is required.
• Customer service experience is required; restaurant, café, bar-back, concessions, retail, fast food, or similar experience is welcome.
• Bartending experience is welcome, but not required. We're happy to show the right person how we do things at TheatreSquared.
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with the public.
• Dependable and able to show up for accepted shifts.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment during busy performances and events.
• Able to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, clean, restock supplies, and lift and carry up to approximately 30 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from TheatreSquared.

Responsibilities

• Provide beverage service and assist with bar operations during performances.
• Operate the POS and process customer payments accurately.
• Restock beverages, cups, glassware, ice, and cafe supplies.
• Clear tables and wipe service areas; clean as needed.
• Support bartenders and staff; assist with cafe items as needed.
• Follow all safety, cash handling and customer service procedures.
