Job summary

Conway Regional Medical Center in Arkansas is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO, ABEM/ABOEM Board Certified) for a 12-month locum tenens assignment in a Level III Trauma Center. The ED handles about 33,500 visits annually with 20 beds and strong NP/PA support, offering a fast-paced but collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will be board certified in Emergency Medicine, have an active license and DEA, and be comfortable with Meditech EMR, no-call shifts, and flexible

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ABEM or ABOEM Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (alternative boards not accepted).
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program.
• Active state medical license and DEA registration.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a 20-bed ED.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including NP/PA and specialists.
• Manage a diverse caseload including trauma and pediatric emergencies.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation.
• Participate in meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
