• SUPERVISES: Students
• PURPOSE: Plan and present instruction and environments to help student development.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Management of Instructional Time – prepare materials and engage students.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Management of Student Behavior – establish rules and supervise transitions.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Presentation – deliver clear, fast-paced instruction with clear objectives.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Monitoring of Student Performance – monitor progress and provide feedback.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Instructional Feedback – provide timely feedback on in-class and homework.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Facilitating Instruction – align objectives, strategies, and assessment.
• MAJOR FUNCTION: Interacting Within the Educational Environment – treat students fairly and interact with staff and parents.
