Qualifications

• Master's degree in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition OR
• Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND a Master's degree in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism OR
• A valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an English Instructor in a California Community College OR
• The equivalent; AND
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of diverse backgrounds in a community college environment.
