Job summary

Sanitas Medical Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for a free-standing outpatient facility to deliver high-quality urgent care and ambulatory services. The role emphasizes efficient emergency medicine delivery, patient triage, and coordination with the care team.

Responsibilities include triage, medication management, procedure preparation, patient education, and adherence to security policies while supporting leadership and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Complete orders for patients from minor care to acute illness.
• Perform accurate triages and discharges for all ages.
• Manage medications including administration and documentation.
• Enter discharge instructions and prescriptions into software.
• Provide quality wound care and splinting as needed.
• Perform EKGs and cardiac monitoring with arrhythmia recognition.
• Prepare procedures per protocol (I&D, sutures, pelvic, LP, Chest Tubes).
• Communicate positively with team members and patients.
• Delegate duties to PCCs, lab and radiology staff appropriately.
• Initiate Pre-MD evaluation orders to expedite care.
• Reference old patient records and protocols in organizational software.
• Support Facility Leader and Nurse Operations Manager as a team player.
• Follow information security policies and report on their performance.
