Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, Science, Social Science or a related field.
• Must meet the Content Knowledge standards required for a provisional teaching license; Valid teaching certification in K-12 education preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in a K-12 school setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and elementary education best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development and Instruction: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
• Classroom Management: Establish and enforce clear classroom rules and expectations to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
• Student Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration and Professional Development: Work closely with colleagues, including assistant teachers, special education staff, and administration.
• Attend evening, virtual ILC meetings.
