Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain classroom discipline and follow lesson plans.
• Provide learning activities when the regular teacher is absent.
• Rotate into various teaching positions daily.
• Implement lesson plans and directives with fidelity.
• Communicate with teachers and principal about expectations.
• Ensure safety of students and uninterrupted instruction.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development.
• Perform supervisory duties (lunch, bus, recess).
• Assist in development of curricular materials as assigned.
• Maintain records and protect student information.
