Job summary

Danbury Hospital is seeking an EEG Technician to perform routine and STAT EEG testing on-site and ambulatory EEG studies for patients ranging from infants to adults. The role includes video EEG testing and data transfer into the patient database, with collaboration with neurologists to ensure accurate interpretations.

Responsibilities include quality control, educating patients and caregivers about the testing process, and supporting off-hours testing with contracted staff.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and STAT on-site EEG and ambulatory EEG testing for patients from infant to adult.
• Perform video EEG testing for patients from pediatric to adult.
• Upload and transfer EEG data to the database ensuring accuracy and integrity.
