Job summary

Qualifications

• Fingerprinting clearance required by New Jersey law.
• Experience assisting teachers and students in classroom settings.
• Ability to operate audio-visual equipment when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate audio-visual equipment for lessons and assemblies.
• Assist with bulletin boards, displays, and classroom projects.
• Support with special projects and classroom housekeeping chores.
• Correct tests and homework; help absentees make up assignments.
• Assist teachers with drill work and individual student support.
• Check seat work and supervise classes as needed.
• Cover lunchroom, hallways, and playground duties.
• Monitor students during lunch and recess times.
• Assist with library materials checkout and distribution.
• Support with assemblies and field trips.
