Job summary

Aspen Academy is hiring a Floater Teacher for its Early Childhood Division, covering ages 2 to 5 across classrooms. This onsite role supports lead teachers with lesson plans, supervision, and family communication during a standard school-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Assistant or Lead ECT qualified through education or PDIS Early Childhood Professional Credential Version 3.0 Colorado Shines Credential Level 2 or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree or some college coursework in education preferred.
• 1–2+ years of classroom lead experience in early childhood settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers with daily lesson plans and activities, supporting literacy, math, and sensory play.
• Maintain safe, inclusive classrooms and ensure staff-to-child ratios.
• Communicate observations and progress to families and lead teachers daily.
• Prepare materials and organize centers, following licensing and safety rules.
• Collaborate with team and participate in professional development.
