Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 60 semester hours of college credit from regionally accredited colleges or universities.
• Michigan teaching certification preferred.
• Proficiency in computer applications and technology.

• Excellent communication and public relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student learning.
• Understand and implement curriculum with fidelity.
• Assist in the selection of instructional materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers and support staff.
• Communicate and work effectively with parents/guardians.
• Assess student progress and maintain records of learning.
• Coordinate with teachers and staff within the building and across the district.
• Participate in required professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including substitute teaching at various grade levels and district buildings.
