Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a busser in a high-volume restaurant.
• Good communication skills; multilingual is a plus.
• Must speak and read English proficiently.
• Professionally groomed in a manner consistent with department grooming standards.
• Positive attitude, energetic and a willing learner.
• Must possess good attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and keep organized while under pressure.
• Ability to perform a variety of duties with extreme care, concern and detail.
• Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Setting and resetting tables with clean dishes, silverware and glassware.
• Pouring waters, serving breads, condiments and side-items as necessary.
• Deliver food to guest tables in an appropriate manner.
• Identify and describe each plate to guests accurately.
• Communicate with management and kitchen staff to fulfill requests.
• Assist servers and bussing during service and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness during service periods.
• Set up and break down side stations before and after service.
• Load/unload linens as needed.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
