Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a non-CDL Delivery Driver in New Jersey to ensure on-time product delivery and provide professional customer interactions. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and punctuality in daily routes.

You will unload and stage tires at customer sites, verify orders, collect payments where applicable, and maintain delivery paperwork while representing the company with courtesy and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
• Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type.
• Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to Company.
• Efficiently unload cargo and stage products at customer's place of business.
• Maintain administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders and ensure paperwork accompanies delivery.
• Maintain professional representation of the Company in interactions with customers through responsible driving.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including logs and fuel records.
• Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles as needed.
• Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned.
