Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory in Denver, CO seeks a Creative Arts and Worship Coordinator to unite music education with worship leadership. This full-time exempt role partners with the Center Director to provide after-school and summer program instruction for children, youth, and adults with disabilities, and to lead Sunday services with the worship team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music-related field or equivalent ministry experience.
• Experience teaching music to children/youth in structured settings.
• Proven ability leading worship vocally and instrumentally in church/ministry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead structured group music and creative arts education for youth in after-school programs and summer camps.
• Plan and lead group music/arts classes for seniors/adults with disabilities, including dedicated evening class.
• Lead worship during Sunday services with the worship team, coordinating AV and other elements.
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers; manage youth-to-adult ratios and safety standards.
• Organize concerts and community performances; promote programs through outreach and social media.
