Job summary

Optimized Process Designs (OPD) in Baytown, TX has an opening for a Laborer. The role focuses on general housekeeping, dirt handling, form removal, and assisting craft workers with tools and materials in an active construction environment.

Candidates should be prepared for outdoor conditions, learn safety procedures, and work up to 12-hour shifts with potential travel to remote sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or outdoor labor preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Comfort working in extreme weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping
• Shoveling dirt, compacting dirt, breaking or chipping concrete
• Removing concrete forms
• Assist craft workers by carrying tools and moving materials to work areas
• Use tools such as jack hammers, dirt compactors, dirt shovels, chipping guns/hammers, framing hammers, and crow bars
• All other duties as required
