Job summary

Frontier Schools in Missouri is seeking an anticipated Computer Teacher for the 2026–27 school year. The starting salary for this position is $63,000 and will be commensurate with experience and education.

Responsibilities include planning a program of study, creating a conducive learning environment, preparing class materials, assessing progress, maintaining records, and participating in staff development. Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Missouri teaching certificate for the appropriate level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study that meets students' needs, interests, and abilities.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to student maturity and interests.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Utilize instructional techniques and media suitable for the location and students.
• Assess students' progress regularly and provide progress reports.
• Protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and district policy.
• Comply with district policies, rules and regulations.
• Develop classroom rules and maintain order.
• Be available to students and parents for education-related purposes.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides and volunteers in collaboration with department heads.
• Participate in staff development and attend staff meetings.
