Job summary

Jefferson Community and Technical College, part of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, offers adjunct positions in Communication Studies. Instructors will teach Hybrid, Online or on-campus sections of COM 181 and COM 252 at multiple Jefferson Campuses.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s or eighteen graduate hours with a Master’s, and the ability to engage students with diverse perspectives. Blackboard LMS will be used for feedback and communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in the teaching discipline (preferred) or eighteen graduate hours and a Master’s degree.
• Ability to teach Hybrid, Online or on-campus sections.
• Experience engaging students and diverse perspectives in post-secondary teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach Hybrid, Online or on-campus sections of COM 181 and COM 252.
• Maintain office hours for mentoring and coaching students.
• Maintain grades and records for assigned courses.
• Utilize Blackboard LMS for communication and feedback.
