Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and respect the confidentiality of student and school personnel information
• Maintain discipline and classroom control to foster a safe learning environment
• Ensure health, welfare, and safety of all students through adequate supervision
• Take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
• Report to the office on arrival at school and before departure
• Report student injuries or incidents to the appropriate authority promptly
• Implement lesson plans while preserving instructional time and engaging students
• Organize students for effective instruction
• Return materials, equipment, and keys to proper places
• Follow policies and procedures applicable to regular teachers
• Maintain low substitute cancellation rate
• Comply with NPCS policies
• Check assigned school email and complete annual training
• Perform other duties as assigned
