Upstate Caring Partners is seeking a Teacher Assistant in Utica, NY to support classroom activities and assist with lesson planning under supervision. The role involves implementing IEPs, delivering instruction, and maintaining accurate records while promoting safety for individuals served.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and NYS TA Level I certification (or equivalent) with travel required to support programs across the agency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS TA Level I certification or equivalent documentation.
• Maintain Valid Level I Teacher Assistant Certification and NYS teaching credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom activities aligned with IEP goals.
• Contribute to lesson planning and deliver instruction under supervision.
• Ensure safety and well-being of individuals supported.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to the team.
• Assist with daily ADL care and documentation for care plans.
