Job summary

Preschool Leadership Group in San Antonio is seeking a Rockstar Child Care Center Director to lead daily operations, coach staff, and drive enrollment growth. This hands-on leader will ensure Texas licensing compliance, build strong family relationships, and maintain a safe, organized center.

You will recruit and develop a dependable team, manage schedules and budgets, conduct tours, and guide the center to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet Texas qualifications to serve as a child care center director.
• At least three years of experience in a licensed child care program.
• At least two years of leadership experience as a director or assistant director.
• Strong knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards.
• Ability to pass all required background checks.
• Experience managing employees, schedules, and enrollment growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily center operations.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate employees.
• Maintain proper ratios and control labor hours.
• Ensure compliance with Texas Child Care Regulation and Texas Rising Star.
• Ensure curriculum is implemented across classrooms.
• Communicate proactively with parents and families.
• Conduct tours and convert prospective families into enrollments.
• Monitor tuition accounts and center records.
• Maintain a positive, professional workplace culture.
• Communicate with owners regularly.
