Job summary

Ryder is hiring Warehouse Cherry Picker Operators in College Park, Georgia with weekly pay and strong benefits. Pay is $18.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Positions support handling HVAC, paper rolls, batteries, and circuit boards using sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, RF scanners, and cherry pickers. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year warehouse/PIL experience, a valid forklift

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Flexible schedule with various shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation.
Auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
Handle day-to-day paperwork (e.g. picking sheets, returns, Bills of Lading).
Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Performs other duties as assigned.
