Job summary

North Florida Cardiology in Jacksonville is recruiting for a non-invasive/non-interventional cardiologist to join a busy private practice located across from a 450-bed hospital. The group includes six cardiologists with interventionalists, one non-interventionalist and one electrophysiologist, and operates a comprehensive office and cath lab suite.

The opportunity offers a base salary with productivity bonus, four weeks CME/PTO, paid relocation, health insurance, dues, and cell phone.

Qualifications

Private practice with six cardiologists, including four interventionalists, one non-interventionalist and one electrophysiologist.
On-site freestanding cath lab for diagnostic heart cath and some PCI; PET scanner, nuclear medicine, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, pacer checks, remote and Holter monitoring.
Busy venous program including laser, radiofrequency ablations and sclerotherapy.
On-call rotation 1:5 or 6 for own patients, with monthly STEMI call occasionally.

Responsibilities

Provide cardiology consultations for inpatients and outpatients among a busy group.
Travel to sub-offices for clinics as needed; collaborate with hospitalists and PCPs.
Participate in interventional and EP cases as part of a multi-specialty team.
