Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Palo Alto, CA is hiring for campground staff to supervise, lead activities, and support campers aged 4-12 during the 2026 season. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and a collaborative team approach in a fast-paced camp setting.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

Responsibilities

• Staff members will facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Some staff will create/oversee activity spaces in which campers self-select activities; others rotate in support roles.
• Speak with your local director to learn your specific responsibilities; activities include sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and more.
