Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) is hiring a Full-Time Bus Operator to serve the State College area with safe, reliable transportation. Trainees start at $23.70/hour with increases through Year One ($25.18), Year Two ($26.66), and post-Year Two ($29.62).

40 hours weekly not guaranteed; shifts include nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, route navigation, passenger assistance, and strict adherence to schedules while handling

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required.
• Strong driving and safety-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication with passengers and team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Navigate routes and transport passengers efficiently and comfortably.
