Qualifications

• Master's degree (or higher) in biology OR a master's degree and 24 graduate credits in biology or related field
• Experience teaching biology at the college level and commitment to student learning

Responsibilities

• Instructs students in biology classes in classroom, lab, online, or other settings.
• Maintains safe classrooms and labs; ensures safety of students and staff.
• Contributes to curriculum development and alignment with program objectives.
• Delivers course materials and utilizes current classroom technology where available.
• Provides opportunities for student interaction before/after class or office hours.
• Participates in educational assessment and data collection as directed by department/division.
