Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine and mixed cocktails.
• Ability to be mobile or standing for a minimum of 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Confident, outgoing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to guests by interacting verbally to all guests in a friendly manner.
• Adhere to all local and national liquor laws.
• Mix and serve drinks following set Applebee’s recipes.
• Greet guests in a timely manner, take orders and answer guest questions.
• Collect payment from guests in a timely manner using the QR code or POS.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and TEAM by completing opening and closing side work.
• Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety.
• Use bar tools to avoid bar waste and help maintain bar costs.
• Restock product at the beginning and end of every shift including cutting and/or slicing of product for the garnish bin.
