Job summary

Colonial Golf & Tennis Club in the Harrisburg area is seeking a part-time Banquet Attendant to assist in event setup and service.

You will serve food and beverages, set up tables and spaces per BEO, anticipate guest needs, and help tear down after functions.

Ideal candidates are 16 or older, with banquet or customer service experience, reliable attendance, and the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older
• Experience in serving, banquets/events, or customer service experience in the food industry is highly preferred
• Regular and reliable attendance is required
• Must be able to work varying weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must be able to stand, walk, and carry food trays for long periods of time
• A positive attitude and team player!
• Ability to provide quality customer service to guests
• Must have regular and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Prepares function and event site and assures area is set according to specifications.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas as according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) or as directed.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager/supervisor.
• Sets and tears down event spaces following a banquet function to room ready standards.
