Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney in Glendale, AZ to lead representation through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 with autonomy and strong support. You will work with a modern team and leverage cloud-based case management.

Arizona Bar admission is required, with 2-5+ years of consumer bankruptcy experience. You will advise clients with empathy and manage complex filings within a collaborative firm culture.

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar and admitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy District Court of Arizona.
• 2-5+ / 5+ years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
• Strong understanding of Bankruptcy Code, local rules, means testing, and plan formulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead client representation from initial consultation through discharge in Chapter 7 and 13.
• Draft and review petitions, schedules, Chapter 13 plans, and objections.
• Attend 341 Meetings, hearing dockets, and adversary proceedings with client focus.
• Provide empathetic counsel and collaborate on process improvements with leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead client representation from initial consultation through discharge across Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 proceedings.
• Formulate legal strategies, draft and review petitions, schedules, Chapter 13 plans, and objections.
• Attend 341 Meeting of Creditors, confirmation hearings, relief from stay hearings, and adversary proceedings.
• Provide empathetic, clear, and reassuring counsel to clients navigating financial hardship.
• Partner with firm leadership on continuous process optimization and firm development.

What We're Looking For

• Bar Admission: Active and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar and admitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy District Court of Arizona.
• Experience: [2-5+ / 5+] years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience with deep familiarity handling both Chapter 7 liquidations and Chapter 13 reorganizations.
• Mastery of the Process: Comprehensive understanding of the Bankruptcy Code, local rules, means testing, and Chapter 13 plan formulation.
• Client-First Demeanor: Superb bedside manner-high emotional intelligence, empathy, and active listening skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with modern bankruptcy platforms (e.g., Best Case and Best Case Cloud).
