Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Damage Appraiser for our Braintree Collision Center. The role involves inspecting vehicles, preparing repair estimates, and coordinating with insurers and customers to ensure accurate, timely repairs.

Responsibilities include creating work orders, maintaining records, and upholding high quality and customer satisfaction standards. A background in automotive body work and certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Assess vehicle damage and determine repair scope for insurance or customer repairs.
• Prepare detailed repair estimates including parts, labor and deductibles.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters and customers to finalize requirements.
• Maintain accurate WO entries and shop records.
• Build and maintain strong customer rapport and service quality.
• Commit to continuous learning and quality control in body shop work.

Responsibilities

• Ascertain automotive damage and determine the extent of required repairs.
• Develop and cost repair estimates for insurance and customer pay jobs.
• Obtain insurance estimates and align on replacement requirements.
• Prepare WO and obtain signatures, enter into work management system.
• Explain estimates to customers and manage expectations for return of vehicle.
• Perform spot checks for quality and minimize comebacks.
• Maintain body shop documentation and records.
