Piedmont Door Solutions in Dallas, TX is seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician to service the Dallas area. You will repair, maintain, and install doors in commercial buildings, hospitals, and stores, applying your background in doors, carpentry, electrical work, or related skilled trades.

We provide training, tools, equipment, and vehicles, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. You will work with office staff to order parts and track time spent on services while

Qualifications

• License: Must possess an unrestricted and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Comfortable using power tools and hand tools; preferably with carpentry, electric, military, HVAC or similar.
• Skills: Ability to stand, bend, and climb for long periods; lift 75+ pounds; work at heights with a ladder.
• Tests: Background check and drug screen required; vaccinations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to be a Piedmont Door Technician: Install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products
• Take initiative: Proactively assist in projects, demonstrating autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment to drive project success.
• Learn and adapt: Learn techniques from your trainer, building on existing skills and growth.
• Maintain professional worksite: Ensure a clean, organized, and professional worksite, paying attention to detail and workmanship.
