Job summary

Aviso, LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on high-density residential developments. You will work with the Lead Superintendent to manage daily site activities, ensure safety, coordinate trades, and uphold quality, schedule, and budget targets.

Ideal candidates have hands-on multi-family podium-style construction experience, OSHA certifications, and proficiency with MS Office and construction software like Procore or Autodesk Build.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in multi-family podium-style construction on ground-up projects.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial or residential construction; 2+ years as Assistant Superintendent.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR preferred.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and Procore or Autodesk Build experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Lead Superintendent to direct daily jobsite activities, maintain project flow, and enforce site rules.
• Coordinate trade contractors, track material deliveries, and oversee staging to ensure seamless workflow and schedule adherence.
• Conduct regular site walks to inspect ongoing work, verify compliance with plans and specifications, and address issues proactively.
• Help track project schedules, anticipate bottlenecks, and drive swift problem resolution.
• Liaise with the Project Engineer and office personnel to streamline documentation and fulfill field requirements.
• Participate in trade coordination meetings, jobsite walkthroughs, municipal inspections, and consultant reviews.
